Presenting a Beautiful Victorian Parlor Set in the Stanton Hall pattern by J & JW Meeks. This fine parlor set consist of a well done Settee, two fine Arm Chairs, and four Beautiful Side Chairs. Features include the nicely executed Laminated Rosewood, the Carved Crest of Flowers, Shells, and Scroll Carvings, The Gadrooned Crest Rails, the Reticulated Surrounds, the Serpentine Seat Rails, the beautiful Cabriole legs, and cloth centers on the back side of the side chairs. Like Meeks Stanton Hall pieces can be found in the reference Book, Furniture of the 19th Century by Richard & Eileen Dubrow, pages 99, 100 112, & 118. Meeks & John Henry Belter were fierce NYC competitiors. Presented in marvelous conditon. The original finishes have been refreshed, the frames tightend. The springs retied, and recently covered in a light blue and tan Damask upholstery material. The set is ready to adorn your parlor! We invite your inquiries and look forward to your interest.
