It has been recently re-upholstered in a very beautiful and good quality material! The fabric on the cushions is with two faces, black and white. You can change the side of the cushion and you will get completely new look. So basically you get two in one, plus the comfort and the deluxe of the set itself. The set is very solid and sits very relaxed, it can be used every day, no problem. It has been completely restorated, re-gilded, refilled and refurnished. The handmade frame of the set is decorated with typical Baroque style hand carved in gold. This is a big set in that it has beautiful work on top of each item. Unique pieces made in Baroque style. The settee Louis XVI has a beautifully sofa which is enhanced by hand-painted furniture which present the Louis XVI style. Original paintings, along the lines of the great masters of the time adorn the sofa. This settee has its original washed patinated finished frame with carved decorations and fluted legs. The fabric is a petit point floral design and in excellent condition. Only the settee left. Original eight-way hand tied springs were kept, making this settee very comfortable to sit in. Very pretty little loveseat with painted and gilded carved wood, newly redone in a mixed colored tone on fancy fabric. The settee is dating back from 1900. Perfect for the end of a bed, or sitting room. All legs and arms are solid and sturdy, ready for everyday use. FOR SALE: A vintage Kittinger CW118 Sofa made through Kittinger’s partnership with Colonial Williamsburg. Sofa measure 91 inches long by 35 high by 30 deep (outside dimension). Upholstered in brown fabric as shown in listing. The frame is in excellent condition. The upholstery has 3 spots (2 on the back cushion and one on the seat rail), probably red marker or ink. Around the marks you’ll see that a previous owner attempted to remove the marks with Oolite. These issues are clearly shown in the photos attached to this listing. I have not had the sofa steam cleaned to see if all this can be removed. The frame is really where the value is. In this case, the sofa also has a down/feather seat cushion, which was an optional upgrade offered by Kittinger. Most buyers want to upholster their seating in a fabric of their choosing. The key is starting with a great frame and, if you are lucky enough to get one as we have here, a down/feather seat cushion, much nicer than foam! This sofa has solid mahogany exposed parts. The frame was crafted as part of Kittinger’s partnership with Colonial Williamsburg. Each piece was made as an exact replica of a piece in the Williamsburg collection, using colonial construction methods. These Kittinger pieces are highly collectable. They work well in any decor. Choose a traditional damask or document fabric for a classic, period look, a colonial check for a more casual look, leather for your den or office, or chose a fun fabric to blend tradition with a more modern vibe. Very neat set in wonderful condition. Wear is appropriate with age. Please see all photos as they are part of the description. Top of arms of the chairs do show wear and could use a coat of shellac. Sofa consist of 3 pieces with two sections having one arm and the 3rd armless. The side table can be inserted between the sections for a different look. You could even make a love seat and have an additional chair. The chair shown with the ottoman is actually a recliner. There is a bamboo rod in the back you move to three different holes to recline the back. The floor lamp speaks for itself! Truly one of a kind! The set is rounded out with a barrel glass top table. This option will require you to pick everything up at your local greyhound station. Please let me know. Measurements: given without cushions. Cushions are included are measure 3 1/2 thick. Barrel table 17 1/2″ high and 33 1/2″ across. Ottoman 11″ high without cushion and 19 3/4″ square. Recliner 35″ deep and 30″ wide. Back in highest position is 28 from floor to top. Floor lamp 55 1/2 high from floor to top of shade shown. Base is 11 1/2 across. Side table 35″ deep and 15″ wide 18 1/2 from floor to table top. Sofa sections 35 deep. Single arm sections are 25 wide. Armless section is 21 3/4 wide. Each section is 29 from floor to top of back. Simultaneously hip and sophisticated, this mid-century sofa has been given a new life by Alan Design Studio. With its interesting kidney shape, low back and freeform curves, it is emblematic of the style of the great designer Vladimir Kagan. This awesome vintage piece has been restored using the highest quality European furniture & upholstery techniques by local artisans. The new upholstery is high-end, green calf suede. The removable, single seat cushion is attached to the sofa with a d-ring and hook mechanism. The legs have adjustable levelers and are in an espresso finish, 4 high. Overall length is 84″, and the depth is 40″. Seat depth is 24″ in the middle and 27″ at the deepest points. Back height in middle is 29.5. PICK-UPS / LOCAL BUYERS.
