Frame made in the 19th Century of finely carved walnut with high back; decorative carving to back, arms, apron & knees; fabric upholstered arms; and curved front & back legs with metal & wood casters. More recently re-upholstered in a floral and striped fabric of pink, green and white tones. Made in the USA. Measures: Overall: 67.5w 30d 44.75h, Seat: 58w 22.25d 19.25h, Arms: 26.5h. Carved French bows accent the tops of each tufted side cameo seat back. Beautiful French cabriole legs and feet in the front and two curved legs in the rear. The cream painted finish is accented with many gilt details. The cut velvet fabric may be original as it is in vintage condition, a professional cleaning may be enough to restore its full splendor.
