Original parlor sofa from The Howey Mansion in Howey in the hills Florida. Owned by William Howey and monogramed WH. This sofa was part of the display in the Parlor Room in the mansion. During a wedding party they sat on it for pictures and did crack in the places in the pics I provided as shown. The sofa was found by me in outgoing disposal. I called and the curator did confirm that it is indeed all original and was owned by William Howey founder of the town Howey in the Hills located in Florida. In need of minor repairs can be lifted sure someone with some skill would love to have this one of a kind sofa. See pics for condition please. This was angrily put to disposal but was meant to be fixed.

Hand carved frame is all original including the finish which is stunning. These have been reupholstered with high end pearl white Belgian upholstery. This is simply outstanding the frame is original surface, the lines of this sofa are extrodinary! The carving is masterful which almost just comes alive when you look at it! The color for any parlor is perfect its simply fantastic, has some minor wear, should be cleaned, the surface is good on the frame some old repairs everything is solid and ready to go! This is a show stopper of a sofa! 81 wide 42 tall and 23 deep!
This John Henry Belter Victorian Rosewood Recamier / Meridien is approximately 42″ tall and 68″ wide. The seat is 26 deep at its widest point. The pierce carved crest and rosewood frame and legs retain their original finish. The upholstery is also original as are the castors. 1860, this rare piece belongs in the home of the serious collector, dealer or historian of antique American Victorian furniture.
Stunning newly reupholstered two piece mid century sofa. Sofa has it’s original bones with new foam and boomarang print fabric. Hate to let it go, but it will not fit in our new house. Our loss is your gain! Luckily the damage is on the back (please see photos) and definitely does not take away from the WOW factor of this amazing sofa!

This single bronze discussion plate is a drop full as well it could be for the secretary desk in the lid front, or draw. It’s doubt makers mark that’s an old stamp the 1600s details in credible so nice size very nice because original patina we did not polish it. See photographs for details.
