This is a fantastic and very rare Georgian English-made mahogany sofa. The sofa features absolutely gorgeous legs, intricate sumptuous carving paired with less formal cane on the backs and sides with gorgeous green damask upholstery atop. The sofa is in very good condition with the exception of the cane panel in one section as often is the case. The sofa dates to the 1890s era and is of the highest quality and absolutely beautiful. Measures 37 tall x 78 wide x 31 deep x 19.5 seat height. Height: 37 in (93.98 cm). Width: 78 in (198.12 cm). Depth: 31 in (78.74 cm). Seat Height: 19.5 in (49.53 cm). (In the Style Of). Wear consistent with age and use. Upholstery is used and vintage so its reasonable to expect minor imperfections, stains, wear and signs of use.

Old crazed varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish. Minor mars & shrinkage separations from age – see photos. Older upholstery in very fine condition. Wonderful example of this timeless piece. Some signs of age from over the years, such as the brittle wicker (as seen in images) or slight wear on the top coat of the finish here and there. One or two nails visible from repairs done over the years. All is very stable and structural. All and all a wonderful piece. Can fill a large room as one unit or capable of separating around a room, home, patio, etc! Cushions and upholstery are included and in good shape.

An unusual and large (over 5 feet in diameter and 21 inches high) four-piece round ottoman, bench, or stools, from a mansion in Aspen. Each piece is pie-shaped and upholstered in a beautiful orange southwestern motif, in excellent condition. The wood base has carved barley twist leg ending in bun feet. The front stretchers are curved. The interior stretchers are a combination of carved spool and carved barley twist. A theatrical and versatile piece from England and was most likely produced in 1950. Why do I sell items so cheaply? I often drive hours for the best deals and I pass those savings on to you.
