For sale is a transitional Lounge circa 1850. Coming out of Empire into Victorian, this lounge will go wonderfully with either period of furniture. Made of solid Mahogany and Mahogany veneers, it is very sturdy and comfortable. Leaf and flower carvings decorate the chair end and center of the back. Carvings also decorate the arm fronts and feet. The vintage green velvet fabric does show fading and spots, no rips or holes. This is a fantastic lounge and will be a great addition to any room. 14 inches seat to floor.
