The fabric appears to be a waterproof synthetic, more than likely vinyl, making this sofa a great fit for a child’s room or shore house. Brightly colored illustarations of animals from Aesop’s Fables including the lion with the thorn in his paw, the tortoise and the hair, Renard the fox, and others. Solid wood frame is estimated 1930s, reupholstered in the 1970s. 31 ” H , 77″ W, 36″ D, 18.5″ seat. Tem is in good vintage condition being structurally sound and sturdy with normal age appropriate signs of use as pictured including surface scuffs to the feet, with one small chip to the wood (pictured below). There are also some minor scuffs and wear to the fabric, with one stain on one of the seat cushions. Overall a great looking, fun piece.
