VINTAGE 1970′S MCM 3 PIECE LIVING ROOM SET IN MILO BAUGHMAN TUXEDO PLATFORM STYLE. SET INCLUDES A SOFA, LOVESEAT & CHAIR. Fabric is a Dark Brown Velvet with Fun and Funky floral designs in gold, rust, beige and silver accents. These pieces are perfect for your living space. How rare to have a matching 3 piece set. They have been in our family for nearly 50 years. They’ve been kept in a clean smoke free environment. 82″ across, 34″ deep, 26 tall. 59″ across, 34″ deep, 26 tall. 37″ across, 34″deep, 26 tall. They are relatively light yet very sturdy. Great vintage condition with very little wear. No rips, holes, stains or unpleasant odors. Gorgeous mid-century modern a. MCM to modern tuxedo sofa by Henredon comprised of a fully upholstered frame including three loose seat & three loose back cushions wearing the original yellow and chartreuse with a touch of orange plaid fabric. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. This sofa and fabric is in excellent vintage condition with no outstanding flaws found! We have a stunning tuxedo style sofa by Henredon ready to grace your home with its phenomenal presence!! MID-CENTURY WALNUT “TUXEDO” SOFA BY LANE. United States, circa 1960s; retaining early and probably original upholstery Item # 208YXK18P. A very nice mid-century sofa from Lane’s highly sought-after “Tuxedo” line still retaining a wonderful early woven tween upholstery, it features sleek square lines with the two sections of cushions situated over a solid walnut frame and angular tapered legs. It is incredibly comfortable and solid, built to last the test of time for decades to come. We may still have available in our inventory the pair of matching end tables with their iconic bowtie steel hardware. Measurements: 92″ W x 30 3/8″ H x 18″ H to seat x 33″ D. Condition Report: Upholstery is early and probably original with some light fading from sun exposure – this is a bit more notable on the back, where there is a faint outline where neck throws were likely in place at some point. A few spots of loose threads. A few spots of blemish/discoloration to the fabric (we can send shots of each specific spot on request). Sturdy, strong and very comfortable. Welcome to our shop! This sofa is in great vintage circa 1970s condition. There are some chips to the veneer on the bottom edge of the recessed platform base; however, they are only noticeable upon close inspection. And, although the fabric is clean and in usable condition, we have priced this sofa as a frame only. SENSATIONAL VINTAGE TUXEDO BACK, EVEN-ARM SOFA OUT OF BEVERLY HILLS ESTATE, GOOOOORGEOUS! 28″ high at back, 42″ deep. Impossible to tell how old exactly because it’s in such good shape and the cushions feel like new like no one ever sat on them, but I’d say they’re at least 30 years old or better because nobody makes sofas this well anymore unless you’re paying a fortune to a custom maker! Most importantly it’s soooooo comfortable, sleek and absolutely chic. Now, this does’t need reupholstery BUT, if you wish to customize, it would be so easy, and you could even do a straight side without a roll arm for a slightly more modern look- all very easy! It’s the only way to go to get Architectural Digest worthy, showroom quality without showroom prices (like these were wheen they were new which I’m guessing was over 8500 each). , cut out the middle man and get exactly what you want. I have a list of shippers (whom I’ve used before with great success) who can transport this to most places in the country for a very reasonable cost, or we can solicit quotes from Uship. Just let me know where you are and I’ll get a quote for you! At least 10 to 30 years. Old but has been taken excellent care of. Couple of very minor blemishes including a foot scuff at the rear skirt at center which will clean out and which you can’t really see at all, but please ask and i will send pictures of close ups. Handsome mid-century modern tuxedo cube sofa with chrome legs in the style of Florence Knoll or Milo Baughman. The chrome legs and the frame are in fabulous vintage condition. Then there is the fabric. Im told it was originally black satin. It has faded to a gorgeous aubergine ombre. Some will love it. Some will hate it. It is priced to be reupholstered. This fabulous mid-century modern chrome-based sofa in the style of the famed Florence Knoll or maybe Milo Baughman is incredible. Called a tuxedo style sofa with the back and arms at the same height; but with three loose seat cushions, three loose back cushions, and two loose arm cushions, sometimes called a cube sofa. It does not wear its original upholstery. We are told it was reupholstered some years ago. Most will want to recover but for me there is something about the way the black satin stripe has faded to a fabulous eggplant purple ombre that is just wonderful. However, we have priced it accordingly. This very comfy sofa is classic mid-century modern and will look incredible in your mid-century modern home or industrial loft. Beautiful and comfortable three-seat tuxedo sofa in the style of Edward Wormley or Harvey Probber. This sofa is upholstered in a teal color velvet and has three inch high wooden legs which give it a floating appearance. All of the cushions are zippered for easy cleaning. We also have a matching lounge chair listed separately. DIMENSIONS 27″ high by 84″ wide by 33 deep. Seat height is 17. CONDITION Very good vintage condition.
