MID-CENTURY WALNUT “TUXEDO” SOFA BY LANE. United States, circa 1960s; retaining early and probably original upholstery Item # 208YXK18P. A very nice mid-century sofa from Lane’s highly sought-after “Tuxedo” line still retaining a wonderful early woven tween upholstery, it features sleek square lines with the two sections of cushions situated over a solid walnut frame and angular tapered legs. It is incredibly comfortable and solid, built to last the test of time for decades to come. We may still have available in our inventory the pair of matching end tables with their iconic bowtie steel hardware. Measurements: 92″ W x 30 3/8″ H x 18″ H to seat x 33″ D. Condition Report: Upholstery is early and probably original with some light fading from sun exposure – this is a bit more notable on the back, where there is a faint outline where neck throws were likely in place at some point. A few spots of loose threads. A few spots of blemish/discoloration to the fabric (we can send shots of each specific spot on request). Sturdy, strong and very comfortable. Welcome to our shop!
