Vintage Solid Oak Caned Day Bed/chaise Lounge

Stunning vintage solid oak day bed/chaise lounge featuring caned seat and seat back, 8 turned ball and block legs and turned carved claw feet joined by stretchers. The Day Bed/Chaise Lounge has been recently reupholstered in an exquisite chinoiserie-style cotton blend fabric. Height to Seat: 17. The Day Bed/Chaise Lounge is solid and presents with a few very minor age-related scuffs and scratches. Cane is taut and fabric presents in “new” condition. The present owner also had 3 additional throw pillows made. One of the turned balls on the side stretcher nearest the seat back has a small chip (see penultimate photograph). This can only really be seen if you are kneeling on the floor next to to the Day Bed and overall, the piece displays beautifully, as depicted. Loading assistance will be provided upon request. Fabulous French solid walnut Louis XVI loveseat, circa 1920s’, features upholstered shaped back rest within carved frame, with reeded armrest on upholstered padded seat with reeded molded rails. The whole is raised on very elegant reeded tapered legs. This fabulous loveseat is in great condition, newly refinished and upholstered by our professional refinishing team. Beautiful rose silk damask fabric, Carved detail at the edges of the well tufted back, scrolled arms and nicely finished legs. 67.5″W x 28″D x 39.5″H, seat: 17″. Very good for age and use. Solid walnut construction, beautiful silk damask fabric and original trim, medium walnut finish. One fabric tear at front of seat and loose trim (as seen in photos). This classic chaise lounge was made in the Late 1800s and is a wonderful example of the Victorian Eastlake furniture style; it features a classic silhouette with beautifully hand carved details decorating the frame, and a lovely light to medium walnut finish to the wood, and it has wheels on the legs make easy to move around. The Chaise Lounge has beautiful floral tapestry, the tapestry is in good condition, it look like it was reupholster not long ago, see pictures, we do recommend to professional clean.
