A very finely crafted and beautifully inlaid solid oak sofa by Stickley from their Harvey Ellis Collection, it retains the original upholstery which overall appears almost to be unused. The oak retains a gorgeous overall glow and the surface is beautifully preserved. We may still have the matching loveseat to this sofa available in the shop still. Stunning vintage solid oak day bed/chaise lounge featuring caned seat and seat back, 8 turned ball and block legs and turned carved claw feet joined by stretchers. The Day Bed/Chaise Lounge has been recently reupholstered in an exquisite chinoiserie-style cotton blend fabric. Height to Seat: 17. The Day Bed/Chaise Lounge is solid and presents with a few very minor age-related scuffs and scratches. Cane is taut and fabric presents in “new” condition. The present owner also had 3 additional throw pillows made. One of the turned balls on the side stretcher nearest the seat back has a small chip (see penultimate photograph). This can only really be seen if you are kneeling on the floor next to to the Day Bed and overall, the piece displays beautifully, as depicted. Loading assistance will be provided upon request.
