This is a beautiful sofa located in our warehouse in Miami. The frame is very sturdy and was beautifully gilded with gold leaf. It was beautifully decorated with typically French Louis XVI hand-carved decorations in the frame and furnished with beautiful tufted white leather. This is a truly beautiful item to have in your home, it will be the eye-catcher of any room. The measurements are about: 160 cm wide x 59 cm deep x 114 cm high from the ground to the top seating height ground to seating is 50 cm. This translates to roughly 63 inch wide x 23 inch deep x 44.9 inch high (ground to top, seating height is roughly 19.7 inch). However, I do have plenty of other items that are in my warehouse in The Netherlands. If you are interested in this, the total amount should be paid within three months and you can decide within those three months how much and when you would like to pay. A very good looking and well made piece, the carving is very much in the Gothic style, the back removes as you can see converting this from a comfortable two seat bench settee into a very style bluster armchair window seat or chaise. The upholstery has been professionally cleaned and is in good order, the wood work clean waxed repaired and polished. There will be normal patina marks from honest age and genuine use. Height:- 94cm top to bottom, 72cm to the top of the arms only. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. As mentioned this sofa is part of a suite, I also have the matching three seat sofa and armchair listed under my other items, if your interested in the other pieces please let me know and Ill send you the item numbers. The suite came from a rather prestigious clients mansion home in Chelsea, they had the home furnished and left for visiting family and friends to stay in when in London, the home was used maybe four times in 20+ years, as such they decided to sell it off. The suite is in stunning condition throughout, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom. The cushions are hollow fibre filled which is like feather filling however they hold their shape better, it is a very comfortable sofa. Height:- 83.5cm frame only, 99cm including the cushion. Depth:- 109cm frame only, 115cm including the cushion over hang. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Gorgeous, streamlined Danish design. A three seat sofa with the original lightly checked olive upholstery. Teak insets into the arms, and sits on solid turned teak tapered legs. Country of origin: Denmark. Date of manufacture: 1960s. Material: woollen fabric and teak. Size : width 192cm x height 78cm x depth 78cm x seat height 44cm. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Signs of wear consistent with age and use. Very slight damage as follows. Left hand side bottom small darned patch. Right hand side bottom small threadbare patch. Both these are very small and do not detract from the overall impression of the sofa. See photos for reference.
