Very elegant and comfortable Classic Danish Modern sofa by producer Mogens Hansen, Denmark. 1968 in supple thick brown leather. High quality top grain brown leather over a beech wood frame and legs. Cushions on top and back are filled with down. Nice worn-in quality with some age appropriate wear with minor scratches to the leather and scuffs to the legs. No major wear, holes or tears to the leather. Great addition to any collection. Condition report: Very good condition. Some minor wear to arms and bottom cushions otherwise mint. This is a beautiful sofa located in our warehouse in Miami. The frame is very sturdy and was beautifully gilded with gold leaf. It was beautifully decorated with typically French Louis XVI hand-carved decorations in the frame and furnished with beautiful tufted white leather. This is a truly beautiful item to have in your home, it will be the eye-catcher of any room. The measurements are about: 160 cm wide x 59 cm deep x 114 cm high from the ground to the top seating height ground to seating is 50 cm. This translates to roughly 63 inch wide x 23 inch deep x 44.9 inch high (ground to top, seating height is roughly 19.7 inch). This item will be packed very carefully in a custom-made wooden box. This is the conker brown which is tricky to find, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom. Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this lovely vintage green velour window seat circa 1880 based on an early Thomas Chippendale Georgian sofa. A very good looking and decorative window seat, this is a small piece designed to sit in a bay window, it looks amazing from any angle. The legs are walnut and are carved with acanthus leaf details to the top which was common in. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the wood has a lovely rich timber patina. The seat pad has been filled with feather cushioning and then a new hessian base cover fitted using period Victorian nails. The upholstery is in very good order, there is an iron mark to the top which you can see in the right light. Depth:- 46.5cm. Seat height:- 43.5cm.
