Antique French Louis XV Style Settee/ Love Seat Set, Late 19 Century

Louis XV style settee set. This listing is the pair, left and right. The previous owner was an elderly lady (in her 70s) and remembered sitting on them at her grandmother’s house when she was a little girl. The carved wood is in great condition, but some of the wood is lighter on the arms from normal wear. They have been re-upholstered once professionally by Ackerman’s Furniture Service. There is a water stain under the cushion on the deck fabric (pictured). Owners smoke in home, but not in the room these are kept in. The measurements: 34.5″ Tall 51″ Wide 36 Deep. Seat: 19.5″ Tall 43″ Wide 24-26 Deep. The measurements are accurate within an inch. I have more pictures if needed. Let me know if you have any questions. We originally were not going to list this again, but some dental work has required my husband and I too relist. We are open to offers but it seems there are just a lot of watchers that are not really interested in purchasing. Best offer means MAKE AN OFFER not just sit there and watch. Vintage French Provincial Ornate Carved Loveseat / Small Couch / Settee. Has Detailed Hand Carved wood. Measures approximately 31″ tall x 51″ wide and the depth is about 36. The Upholstery can definitely use a cleaning or re-upholstering. The cushion will need cleaning and most likely repacking. To our knowledge EVERYTHING is original. The Loveseat belonged to our Great Aunt & Uncle who passed back in the early 80′s. We are not sure about the exact age of it but guessing near 100 years old or thereabouts. I f you are in the Chicagoland area we can arrange to meet somewhere in-between if need be. Although we would have to rent something in order to do this so keep that in mind. It is difficult to weigh the loveseat, however we would estimate at around 75 pounds. The Loveseat is located in a climate controlled storage unit in North Aurora Illinois 60542. Gorgeous little antique sofa or love seat. Well made and sturdy. 60″ long, 27 1/2″ high and 13 1/2 from floor to seat. Very adorable and comfortable. Reupholstered in lovely floral print with beige background and pink and rose flowers. Not sure of exact age. Upholsterer said it was the most unique antique sofa he has ever seen.
