Antique, hand carved, rosewood sofa. Wood work is amazing, and in great shape but will need upholstery work done. It has been re-upholstered once before so foam is in good shape, seats don’t sag, all the buttons are still intact, and a repair has been done to the back leg of the wood work, but functions perfect.

Danish modern brown leather sofa sitting on a Brazilian rosewood frame. Nice worn-in quality with some age appropriate wear with minor scratches to the leather and scuffs to the legs. No major wear, holes or tears to the leather. Recently imported from Denmark. Great addition to any collection. Condition report: Very good condition. Some minor wear to arms and bottom cushions otherwise mint. No holes or damage in the leather. Rosewood Frame shows no issue. SPLENDID VICTORIAN J & JW MEEKS STANTON HALL LAMINATED ROSEWOOD FULL 9 PCS PARLOR SET. Attributed with confidence & references to the very fine workshop of J & JW Meeks, NYC, circa 1860′s. It is our pleasure to present this Beautiful Victorian Rococo Laminated Rosewood J & JW Meeks full 9 pcs Stanton Hall Parlor Set. This set is so named after the namesake set at THE STANTON HALL MANSION in Natchez, Mississippi. This Fabulous Meeks Stanton Hall patten parlor set consists of a fine Sofa, a pair of wonderful armchairs, an attractive set of 4 side chairs, and a rare pair of accent chairs. This outstanding 9 pcs parlor set is presented in professionally restored and recently upholstered condition. The Armchair, Side Chairs, and Slipper Chairs feature laminated rosewood backs while the Sofa has material on the reverse side. Features include floral carved cartouches amidst open scrolling, reticulated foliate and grape carvings, serpentine seats, cabriole legs, and all raised on casters. Like Meeks Stanton Hall pieces can be found in the Reference book, Furniture of the 19th Century by Richard & Eileen Dubrow, pages 99, 100, 112, and 118. Victorian Antique Carved Rosewood Settee or Sofa, Cherubs, Needlepoint #43272. A beautiful Victorian period settee or sofa has carved cherub and floral motifs. American antique 1860s furniture. Hand carved of solid rosewood. Some slightly flexible joints, but frame is strong and usable. Older glossy finish in very good condition with mars & shrinkage separations from age – see photos. Removable cushions have floral hand stitched needlepoint upholstery from about 70 years ago. Frame has restorations and reinforcements on back side – see photos. Cane back is reglued down in places – see photos. On wheels for easy movement. Size is 71″ wide, 28″ deep and 50″ tall with seat 22″ deep and 21.5 high.
