Shows an extremely slight line along fabric in the back where it leaned against a molding. But hard to see. NOTE: This is a local pick-up only. This hard to find love seat – Milo Baughman style by Selig Monroe – from the estate of the original owner. This piece sat in her den for over 50 years. This is a quintessential 1960′s piece in avocado stripes – original tag is present. It appears to have been rarely used. The piece measures 58″ wide; 34″ deep; and 29 tall. Restored Karpen Carved Figural Mahogany Rococo Parlor Set 4 Pieces C1880 MINT. Settee measures 66 wide x 35 tall x 37 deep. Small chairs- 37 tall x 23 wide x 27 deep. Large chair- 42 tall x 29 wide x 32 deep. This is a gorgeous completely French-polished karpen 1890s era solid mahogany parlor set. The set is complete and in superb condition. The upholstery is very good and does not need to be reupholstered. There are no damages or repairs that we can find, beyond the most minor imperfections which you can see in the photos, mostly on the back of one of the pieces. Video will open in a new window. We just completed the upholstery job on this baby and its incredible. We restored the entire solid carved mahogany suite to begin with to a near mint condition and meticulously button tufted the fine grade Lexus leather to a chesterfield pattern and look. The entire insides of this suite is done for appearance but more so to be comfortable, this is not your grandmas antique sofa! Our upholsterer is as good as anyone out there and takes much pride in delivering the most comfortable and stylish feel you can get. This is a superb 3 piece suite made by either RJ Horner of NY or Karpen brothers of Chicago, not sure which but who cares its awesome. Super Rare in this condition and size. Comes from a Smoke Free/Pet Free Air conditioned environment. This awesome sofa was designed in 1955 by. For Getama Gedsted of Denmark. It is a four seat model with the center support which is much more difficult to find than the more common three-seater. Freshly Reupholstered in a Brand New Kravet Grey Wool fabric blend. Quality workmanship by a Designers’ choice Upholsterer here in Knoxville, TN. The original wood frame is solid and sturdy with minimal wear or scuffs, See Pics. This sofa’s versatility made it one of Wegner’s most popular sofa design. It’s linear and minimalist form would lend itself well to accompany most of his chairs. A chair is to have no backside. It should be beautiful from all angles. This quote from Wegner could not apply more. The back of the sofa is truly beautiful. The angled posts give this sofa its modern flare and are constructed from solid Teak, as are the legs and supports. The original spring cushions are still in very amazing condition. The sofa is a tufted base with beautiful nail head trip and will last another 50-100 years unlike cheap imitations. From the 1900 era this Baroque styled curved sofa features ornate carved arms and base Completely refurbished this one of a kind set features high end silk hand loomed Karastan chenille designer fabric on the cushions that are all reversible to Lee Joffa Duralee cheetah print with a double contrast welt. Ive never seen furniture this ornate with springs in both the cushion and the frame- when refurbishing this set, i had my upholsterer reset the springs for heigth and comfort. These pieces feature springs in the cushions AND frames. The club chair has a velvet back and the sofa has the leopard cheetah back. The teak has been stained and sealed with a high gloss finish. This furniture is hand made and remarkably HEAVY. If you are looking for grand style this is show stopping Hollywood design, absolutely gorgeous furniture. Throw pillows are NOT included.
