Outstanding Antique Mission Oak Settle Large Heavy Impressive LIFETIME

We are pleased to offer a fabulous Mission Oak drop arm settle or sofa. It retains its original finish and, we believe the seat is original; the leather has been replaced at some point. It has a great look and is a comfortable, practical and very usable piece of furniture. We added the four back cushions for additional comfort; they are upholstered in a soft dark maroon fabric. He was told that the brand was Lifetime of Grand Rapids, a well known Mission furniture maker, but we found no labels or marks. It features mortise and tenon construction with beefy slats and posts – a very impressive and heavy piece. Measurements are as follows. Length from outer edge of arms 87. Height at arm 25 1/4. Seat height 17 1/2. Height at back post 36 1/2. Depth at arm 32. Condition: As can be seen from the photos, it is in overall very good condition. There are a few areas of scratches and a water ring or two on the arms – just signs of use. There are no large areas of damage and the leather cushion is in very good shape. This has been re-upholster with old fabric. The top right corner of the wooden design has some damage. I do have both wooden balls that go on top. The boards under both armrests are cracked and split — shown in photo. The inside of seat cushion is made of straw and springs. It is okay to sit in. The couch comes apart into 4 sections. Both arm rests come off, and the back rest and seat separate into 2 pieces. Overall dimensions are 79 inches long from end of armrest to end of armrest. 58 inches tall to top of wooden trim rail… The seat is 25 inches deep. Overall depth is 32 inches deep.
