The Long Sofa with Articulating-Back and the Loveseat with the Salmon colored lacquered rear arching shelf were the 1st pair. I later became fortunate enough, to find another identically sized model Loveseat, however it is in a different color fabric and the arching rear lacquered shelf is in gloss black. Sofas are in Excellent/Perfect Structural Condition. All Foam Seat Cushions and Pillows are really in great shape. They are firm, yet soft and supple, free from hard/dry/crushed spots, and free from stains and odor. Cosmetic Condition of the Skin/Upholstery is relatively unimportant, since they will all need new SKIN (Fabric or Leather) reupholstery and a re-lacquering of the 2-Arching Rear Shelves, to make a complete matched set. These sofas are not new, so they cannot be mistaken for such. However, like I said, they are in very good structural shape (and require only reupholstery and refinishing of lacquered shelves). The AVEDON is INCREDIBLY-RARE, and hardly ever found in the 2nd-Hand world; and are usually quickly grabbed up by Interior Designers, whom simply have them Reupholstered. In Regards to Reupholstery I highly recommend contacting my friends at the “Leather Institute” in Red Bank New Jersey, for custom reupholstery options in any type of fabric or leather, they can industry source it all competently and competitively; and they are HIGHLY ACCREDITED and ACCOMPLISHED (just take a look at their website)!!! These are a Phenomenal Deal, and will make an AMAZING LOUNGE SET, in an “Open-U” Formation (with or without separating End Tables), or a tight “Closed-C” Formation. If I were keeping them, my instincts would lead me to reupholster them in Gloss-White Leather with Wood-Veneered Shelves in either natural Zebrano Wood or Clear Gloss-Lacquered Macassar Ebony (utilizing Book-Matched Veneered Panels with a Joint at the Center, where the wood grain converges, to form a “Delta” Duplicating Pattern), and I have already had the Chrome Connector Rods which connect the Rear-Shelves and Articulating-Back to the foundations, custom refinished in Mirror-Polished Nickel Plating (Triple Coated, they are GORGEOUS)!!! Another option for the rear shelves, is that they be veneered in stone paneling, such as Resin and Agate, Mother-of-Pearl, Mosaic Inlay, or Corian Clay.
