Great looking matching set of Louis XVI style salon furniture coming directly from a wealthy local estate of a lady who was a decorator. The value is in the carved frames. Will look outstanding with new upholstery. Dates to late 19th- early 20th century. These had been recovered, but some of the original silk damask is still present. The settee had a cushion remade, so the original upholstery is gone. Had been covered in unfortunate fabric in the 1980s. The giltwood surface has taken on an outstanding patina with age. Highly carved designs all in wood. Condition: These will require new upholstery. Can be separated, but it is a matching set.
