Description: This beautiful sofa features rolled arms with classic camel back sitting on top of three mahogany carved cabriole legs with acanthus leaves carved knees terminating in claw and ball feet. Sofa is upholstered in beautiful floral chintz fabric. Conover made furniture and upholstery in North Carolina, specialized in high end 18th century reproductions and their furniture was found in high end furniture stores. Also Conover was known for its high end fabrics. Condition Report: Good condition with some light scuffs and scratches as expected with usage, fabric in very good condition. Measurements: 37″ H X 74″ W X 31 D. Items are pre-owned and will show the usual signs of scuffs, scratches, wear and use. Upholstered items may have wear, tears and stains associated with usage. OUTSTANDING ANTIQUE CLASSICAL FEDERAL SALEM SOFA W/ FINE FABRIC, MCINTIRE CARVED CIRCA 1810. Attributed carvings to Samuel Field McIntire. It is a separate listing. Size: 78″ wide x 35.5″ high x 21 deep to the front side of the back. Pattern: Carved basket in the Salem style. This is a fabulous piece of furniture. Very good condition with very fine ready to go fabric and accent pillows. Wood surface shows some wear, small nicks, and wear that is typical for a piece that is 200 years old. This type of furniture was seen in the most exclusive parlor room in the home. We can get an estimate from USHIP online for quotes. Please provide your city and zip. Gorgeous Settee in Good Vintage Condition. The Frame is Solid and Firm. But the Fabric has some issues. The front left backrest has a large whole in the fabric. Second there is some fading also on the left side of the Settee. And finally the back has pet stains along the bottom edge of the fabric. You may consider re-upholstering the entire Settee. Or getting it cleaned and repaired. Overall a Gorgeous Settee! Measurements: 42″H x 79″ x 27″ Seat Height 18″. Please keep in mind that this is a Vintage Piece and has its normal signs of wear.
