A quaint mid 19th century French Settee. Features a flared and carved giltwood frame with a light blue upholstering featuring a raised white velour floral leaf pattern. Includes classical Louis XVI motifs with floral medallions, turned and tapered legs ending in arrow foot/. Good Antique Condition with use related wear. Some marking distressing and rubbing to frame. A beautiful diminutive Empire mahogany recamier with gilt eagle and ebonized claw feet, freshly appointed with satin upholstery all around, including a fitted cylinder pillow. Dating to the 19th century in very good restored condition, with minor imperfections, high point and edge losses, and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Approximately 25 in H x 66 in W x 21 in D. New Hampshire Antique Co-op. A local family business since 1983. Best of New England. This is a fantastic, beautifully proportioned YELLOW upholstered French settee. The color is exactly as the first photo-yellow. In the subsequent photos it appears lighter, and I can’t explain it.
