Vero Beach, Florida, United States WILL ALLOW FREE LOCAL PICK-UP. Early 1900s Rare Country French Provincial Loveseat Settee Bench With Cane Accent and Rush Seat. This rare early 20th Century Antique Country French Provincial Settee is constructed of a solid carved wood frame and is distressed in a beautiful whitewashed finish revealing the natural wood. It features a gracefully scalloped camelback top rail conjoined with a center stile and carved hearts on the back of a half-caned window seat, scrolled cane accented arms and lovely carved scalloped apron terminating in elegant cabriole legs and a rushed seat. The sette is fully finished so it will float. The attention to detail and casual sophistication of this charming bench will create a stunning focal point in an entryway, hallway, bedroom, or in a sunroom and is quite the piece for the discerning collector. Measures 47″W x 32″H x 26D (depth is measured from top back of seat to front of cabriole legs). Excellent Vintage Condition commensurate with age. The settee has been refinished and caning was replaced. The rushed seat maintains its originalcharacter and is in sturdy, functional condition.
