Outstanding, Gorgeous Italian Living Room Set! A large sofa and two beautiful chairs that are highly ornate and carved and magnificent. Beautiful wine colored fabric and everything is in beautiful condition for its age. One of the side chairs had a break at the top peak as shown but otherwise all of the carvings are in excellent condition with normal wear on the finish. The upholstery is in excellent condition for its age and one of the couch cushions has a cigarette burn as shown but can be on the underside. The fabric could maybe use a little tuck here or there but it really is beautiful for how old it is. Unknown maker or exact age. I was told that this set was used in Teatro Zinzanni. The sofa is 80 inches long by 45 inches high by 32 inches deep and weighs approximately 100 pounds. Each chair is 33 1/2 inches long by 41 1/2 inches high by 32 inches deep and they each weigh approximately 50 pounds. Absolutely Fabulous Antique French fainting sofa / chaise lounge / settee loveseat. Traditional and sophisticated, this piece will be a focal point of any space. Features a printed upholstery and hand carved frame and solid wood frame. Perfect for your boudoir, vanity area, bedroom, living room, dressing area, anywhere! The plush cushions are inviting and so, so comfortable. Overall good vintage condition. Shows wear from age and use. The fabric shows wear. The frame is solid and sturdy. Could be used as is or recover for a fresh, new look. May need some refinishing. Dimensions: 74″ x 32″ x 35″ (15″ seat height). We reserve the right to relist and sell all items that are not paid within this time period. We have negotiated very reasonable rates with several white glove shippers, however, their transit times may be longer than others. Baroque Style Italian Fruitwood Vintage Sofa, Carved Angels #31351. An imposing sofa was lavishly carved with angels in the Baroque manner about 60 years ago. Solid fruitwood, the pierced and sculpted frame is beautiful on this vintage furniture from Italy. The original finish is very well preserved with minor touchups on this large and comfortable sofa. There is very little wear to the cut velvet fabric, which has brass nail head trim. There is a slight flex to the frame, which could be reglued whenever the sofa is next upholstered.
