Handsome two piece angled sectional sofa in a fabulous modern or Art Deco Revival styling produced by Dansen Contemporary of High Point, NC. It is in wonderful vintage condition. We have had it professionally cleaned and it could be ready to use. But there is a small tear in the upholstery on the front skirt that has been repaired. And there are some rust spots and fading to fabric also along the skirt. So, you may want to reupholster. It is priced accordingly. Looking for a striking sofa to float in a room or maybe soften a corner. This one will definitely command attention in doing so. A two-piece sectional sofa produced by Dansen Contemporary circa 1987, it is comprised of two angled sections with rounded ends that fit together in the middle creating a cozy arc. It has loose seat cushions and is piled with loose back pillows. The sofa body is fully upholstered with no legs in view so appears to float just barely off the floor. The rounded ends are at the same height as the back and when the pillows are placed just so you can snuggle or lean against them perfectly. I can visualize you and your significant other each with your laptops reclining in opposite ends and playing footsy in the middle! Or you can split it apart with a table in the center for a longer leaner look. Or place the two pieces flanking a fireplace as a pair of chaise lounges. The original fabric they are in is lovely with its blush overall coloration. But then when you look closer you see it is a pastel plaid mixed with white and silver-gray or aubergine. Unfortunately, there is a little booboo in the fabric on the bottom center corner of the right section that has been repaired so you may want to recover. And would it ever be dynamite in a luscious linen or magnificent mohair! Dansen Contemporary has a rich lineage. At one point it was part of Markwood Inc. Which was founded in 1963 by Elliott S. Wood, who was also the founder of Heritage Furniture and later the executive vice president of Drexel Heritage. In 1988 Dansen Contemporary as part of Markwood Inc. They remain in business today. This is an outstanding and versatile sectional sofa that we have totally fallen in love with here at the shop. We know you will love it as much as we do. You must make it yours!
