It is upholstered in the original deep red velvet which is in great condition, with yellow braided piping and fringing at the base. Date of manufacture: 1930s Country of origin: Denmark. Size: width 172cm x overall depth 88cm x seat depth 51cm x height 70cm x seat height 40cm. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Signs of wear consistent with age and use. Item features a number of very fine and detailed carvings including, birds, serpents, swan heads, cornucopia, pagodas and other flowers and foliage. Extremely well done and unique with the arms having step Downs on the interior. Seat height is 19. ” H x 87″ W x 33″ D x 19″ Seat height. Very good antique condition being structurally sound with age appropriate signs of normal use as pictured. Original fabric shows wear. The couch was recently reupholstered. It comes with two cushion covers: the velvet shown in photos or a matching silk cushion to match the main frame of the couch. The color is a light beige salmon not as pink as the photo looking at the back would suggest. Double pin striping throughout. Excellent condition with sturdy construction.
