We bought this ca 1863 fainting couch in Chicago in 1973 and it’s been with us ever since. We were told when we bought it to never recover it since this was the original fabric when it was made. It sure looks it. Overall in really great shape considering it’s 159 years old. As you can see in one of the pictures, there are two small tears on the lower right side of the chaise. Please feel free to ask any questions. From a smoke-free home. This item is in the category “Antiques\Furniture\Sofas & Chaises”. The seller is “gdhurricane” and is located in this country: US.
