This RARE Vintage Mid Century Modern 1960s “L” shape arrangement functions as a corner sofa that converts to a two single twin beds. Making this effortless transition easy for all ages. With no need to “Pop-up or Pull-out” a trundle because of the heavy duty caster wheels make this transition possible. Save space by sliding one platform under Bamboo corner table that fits securely in corner of your desired room into a couch. Upholstery print is different geometrical shapes and made of 50% Dacron polyester and 50% cotton treated with Scotchgard Brand Fabric Protector. Upholstery Colors: natural browns, blues, and earth undertones of tan, greens, and reds. (2) Medium-firm Serofoam polyurethane mattresses measuring at 73″inches long x 34″inches wide. Total height 17″ inches floor to mattress top, Mattress tops are 6″inches thick, foundation platform base is 8″ inches, and 3″ inches from foundation platform base to floor. Mattress are covered with tailored-to-fit matching upholstered zipper covers. (2) Base Foundation Platforms made of particle board with reinforced corner blocks and joint surfaces for extra stability. Base foundation platforms measure 73″inches long x 34″ inches wide x 8 inches high. Both are covered with tailored-to-fit matching upholstered zipper covers. Each Base has (4) brass-plated metal ball casters in (2)front and (2)wide plastic rug runners in the back for easier maneuvering. (2) matching blue bolster cushions each measuring 36″inches long x 8″ inches wide x 12.5 inches high. And (3) accent pillows (2)stripped (blue, tan, and white) and (1)solid brown. Accent pillow measures 14″ inches long x 16″ inches wide x 4 inches high. (1) Vintage Bamboo Parsons Corner Table by Vivai del Sud (Made in Italy) Measures 40″inches long x 40″inches wide x 23 3/4inches high. Corner to corner measures 56 1/2 inches. This handcrafted table fits securely in the corner of the room. Creating the “L” shape arrangement that functions as a sofa when one of the couches is stored between the table legs. Problems or Damages: AS Shown in Photos. Given the age and uniqueness there is minimal color fading, which gives ease in recognizing the geometrical shapes and colors is quite amazing. This set is in excellent condition with minor scuffs, and minor ½ inch tear in one of the upholstery material on mattress which can easily be restored. Mattress’s’ foam is still holding its firm shape. Bolsters are holding its firm shape. Base platform foundation’s box springs and covering is in intact. There is a small discoloration stain on corner of one platform. The upholstery is original and in mint condition. Table is a bit wobbly and in need of some restoration. All legs and top woven pattern is in good condition and intact. However, I inherited this set from the original owner who had replaced the glass top that was originally featured with this magnificent table. With cheaper materials vinyl laminate squares in place of ruining or damaging the table as a whole. The laminate was broken and fell during the move. There is some type of sticky adhesive reside that is still on the top of the table. I believe it can be removed however, I do not restore furniture or want to further more damage of this table. See photos for accurate description. The set has been stored indoors and not had any water damage or storage damage. NO SMOKING, NO ANIMALS, and more of a display, with minimal use.
