A cute little settee. I’m calling it French; but, it might not be. Structurally it is very sound. Does not need to be refinished. The fabric is rip and tear free; but, is faded. No springs in the seat. Seat sets firm and probably does not need any work. I think it is ready for a simple recover in the fabric of your choice. 43″ wide x 34.5″ high at the top of the ribbon x 19.5 deep. Seat top to floor is 17. Local pick available in Wichita, KS. For sale is a beautiful hand carved antique Victorian Sofa. It is in excellent condition, especially for its age, with only minor wear from use. Most of the wood is hand carved. The color is a gorgeous Mauve, and it is extremely comfortable. This piece would make a splendid addition to any room. We had this set in our library at our old home, but recently downsized and unfortunately no longer have room for them. This sale is for the sofa only, but two side chairs are available at additional cost. There is an interesting story associated with this furniture. Around mid-last century many of Europe’s private castles were starting to close. Our antique dealer, through contacts he had in Europe, was able to acquire two containers of this castle furniture and import it to the US. Please inquire if interested in the matching chairs. Vintage white wood base gorgeous sofa with tufted back. I had a white slip cover made so that I could keep the beauty preserved of the couch underneath. Gorgeous white distressed wood base and arms. Couch is very old but in wonderful gorgeous condition. No stains on actual couch, hence the slip cover. The slipcover would need a cleaning. Has that shabby chic look. Feel free to ask any questions.
