For sale is a beautiful hand carved antique Victorian Sofa. It is in excellent condition, especially for its age, with only minor wear from use. Most of the wood is hand carved. The color is a gorgeous Mauve, and it is extremely comfortable. This piece would make a splendid addition to any room. We had this set in our library at our old home, but recently downsized and unfortunately no longer have room for them. This sale is for the sofa only, but two side chairs are available at additional cost. There is an interesting story associated with this furniture. Around mid-last century many of Europe’s private castles were starting to close. Our antique dealer, through contacts he had in Europe, was able to acquire two containers of this castle furniture and import it to the US. Please inquire if interested in the matching chairs.
