Antiques Sofas

I have a very nice vintage. This piece is from the rustic ranch oak line of furniture. This line was built in Texas and is made from solid oak and is really substantial. This sectional can actually be used in several different configurations. It could be a 3 section couch, or a love seat and a separate chair. It can be used as love seat section with a corner table and the extra section at the other corner. I photographed the piece as a two-piece couch/love seat and with the chair as an additional piece. The chair part has no arms and can be placed between the two pieces with arms to make a longer couch if that is what is wanted. The upholstery is in amazing condition and is made from a really strong fabric. The multi-colored effect is dark overall and really attractive. Its low slung, casual look makes it fit in with many contemporary approaches to interior design. The measurements: As a 3 piece couch: About 85 inches long, 28 inches high, and 35 inches deep. The chair is 23 inches wide, 28 inches high, and 35 inches deep. The sectional is in excellent overall condition with some dings, scratches, and nicks as is appropriate for its age. The legs, sides, etc. Are in ready to use with a little cleaning. This collection was factory distressed to add character, so the flaws from use hardly matter. The style of this line has a hand-gouged effect that is finished off with “whiting” to give it its distinctive antiqued look. This piece is heavy for its size because of the use of thick slabs of solid oak. There may be a couple of springs missing underneath but the sections all work as is. I replaced a couple of weak or broken springs when I acquired this set about 5 years ago. It is pretty easy to do. It comes from a non-smoking home. NOTE: All sales are final.
