Wonderful 1960′s rosewood “basketweave” settee by the celebrated Danish designer Poul Cadovius. Extremely well made; solid teak! Frame with expertly joined panels for the back and sides. Each panel has a “basketweave” woven rosewood veneer inlay on the outside. The sled-style legs feature exposed finger joints. Beige chenille upholstered, feather wrapped foam cushions for seating. 23,5″h x 56,5″w x 30d. Condition: Very good condition, minor fading, scattered minor surface markings. The legs are solidly joined but there is a slight delamination to the veneer in one corner of each leg. Not very noticeable looking from top down.
