Vintage Child Size Antique Victorian Fainting Couch-Chaise Lounge Chair. Solidly built a trimnis missing and some fading on material. It has springs and padding- not straw or horse hair. I believe this is an original but has has been recovered and also had the padding updated from straw. The material is still old maybe more toward the 30-40s. 19 tall 17 Wide 40long. As mentioned this sofa is part of a suite, I also have the matching two seat sofa and armchair listed under my other items, if your interested in the other pieces please let me know and Ill send you the item numbers. The suite came from a rather prestigious clients mansion home in Chelsea, they had the home furnished and left for visiting family and friends to stay in when in London, the home was used maybe four times in 20+ years, as such they decided to sell it off. The suite is in stunning condition throughout, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom. The cushions are hollow fibre filled which is like feather filling however they hold their shape better, it is a very comfortable sofa. Height:- 83cm frame only, 100cm including the cushion. Depth:- 110cm frame only, 115cm including the cushion over hang. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland. Pair of blue Sheraton love seats. Historical James River Plantation Collection item # 1844-00 by Hickory Chair Company. The graceful, slender, reeded and tapered legs make this Sheraton Love-seat a classic style. It features an exposed wood rail across the top back and arms. Delicate Maple burl inlay is featured at each corner, along with a turned baluster detail between corner and arm. Decorative nail-head trim lends enhancement to the low back and slight proportions of the piece. Medium Mahogany is the standard finish as shown. 1-piece bench Spring-Down seat cushion standard. Our late Victorian/Eastlake style parlor set includes a beautiful settee and two chairs (one parlor chair and one arm chair). This matched set of American Victorian parlor furniture is lightly hand-carved of walnut in the style of Charles Lock Eastlake, and each piece (settee, arm chair, and parlor chair) is topped with a gorgeous burl walnut veneer. This set has been restored by a conservator at some time in its history. The underside of each piece has been covered with fabric, but one can feel by hand that the original springs have been re-tied. All pieces are sturdy and provide a comfort level best described as medium firm. The settee measures 54″ long from arm to arm, 41 3/4″ high, and the seat height is 19. The arm chair stands 39″ high, is 24″ wide overall, 20 1/4 deep, and has a seat height of 16 inches. The parlor chair is 39″ high, 21 1/2″ wide, 19″ deep, and has a seat height of 17 1/2″. A few character marks are visible beneath the wood stain, but nothing is present that detracts from its beauty. Pieces are in good condition but do show some signs of wear from age and use.
