This suite is absolute eye candy from every angle, it is Victorian with the original leather hide which is very thick, the leather is in fully restored condition throughout, the colour had faded, it has been hand dyed this lovely cigar brown colour. The two most attractive things about this suite for me are firstly the humpback, its a style the goes back to Chippendale’s time in the 1700′s, quintessentially English and will look amazing in the century’s to come, secondly the size, its very compact and ideal for city living, small studies, again its rare to find these dimensions. Condition wise the timber frames have been checked secured and stained then polished, the leather has been hand dyed, the suite has horse hair padding throughout, its crunchy, the padding has moved and compressed a little throughout the years as standard, the only noticeable movement is on the second club armchair on the back, you can see its slightly more indented than the others.
