This vintage Chesterfield couch comes in a luxurious Oxford Green over leather finish. The couch measures 76″W x 27″H x 35 in depth. The couch does show slight wear in the form of a missing quilt button, as pictured. There are small scratches, pictured, but none that take away the piece. The seat is 18 from the floor and the arm rests are 29 from the floor. Most leather Chesterfield sofas have a back that is the same height as the arms. Absolutely amazing sofa, could be the centerpiece of any room and a fantastic conversation piece. First half 20th century. The American eagle is proudly featured in an elaborately carved sofa frame, and finished in a rich, mahogany dark satin sheen. The birds’ tail even drapes down the back side, for added effect. All wood including the legs, are beautifully carved, obviously by the finest of craftsmen. The upholstery is a later vintage of red velvet. 51.5″ H x 79.5″ W x 26 D. DATE OF MANUFACTURE: 1900. PERIOD: Early 20th Century. WEAR: Wear consistent with age and use. One of the tip of the wings is broken, also has some nicks in it, bought it 20 years ago.
