An Empire style gilt metal mounted mahogany upholstered settee w. Ith a rectangular back, down swept arms and bow front seat covered in later dralon, the arm facings with turned pillars and spherical surmounts ending in turned and carved claw feet on castors; L. Ate 19th / Early 20th century. This handsome settee is in good condition. There is some wear to the claw feet which is to be expected and the upholstery has been recovered. Upholstery has light wear and some toning to the top, but overall it has been well kept and is without any large stains. The Empire style was popular in Europe and the USA. It is difficult to pinpoint the exact the country of manufacture, but it has French and Austrian influence in the design. Length across top: 75. Height at couch back: 34.5. Height to top of seat cushions: 18. Depth from back of sofa to front of sofa frame: approx 32.5. Depth from sofa back rest to front of cushion: 21.5. Mid Century Western A. Brandt Ranch Oak living room set. Consists of all original pieces. These were government contract pieces, and have government contract stamps on the bottom. The Set consist of 1 platform sofa, 1 platform love seat, 1 platform chair, 1 corner table, and 2 end tables. The corner table is solid wood, the end tables have laminated Formica type tops. The upholstery is original, but needs a good cleaning, or replacing. Made in Fort Worth Texas. All pieces are as found, original finish. Scrapes, scratches, dings, etc etc. You could use as is, or refinish. These have seen much use. Solid as a rock, but cosmetically it has seen a lot. This is what the price breaks down to individually, but I will not sell them individually, only as a set. All of our items are as you see them.
