Unrestored mid century modern daybed sofa. Attributed to Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates. Is very hip, but shows some wear and damage in line with its age. This sofa delights in so many ways. The two end tables are actually reversible! One side is original white laminate Formica. Flip the table top to reveal a faux walnut wood Formica surface. There is some minor damage to the edges of the flip-able pieces. The contoured solid honey colored wood frame comes to a “V” shaped point at the front of the sofa. Six tapered legs the screw on and off. The rear is just as beautiful with a bent wood back brace that remains sturdy after half a century — a testament to Craft Associate’s quality. Remove the back bolster cushions to create a single size bed. Ideal for live-work spaces, condos, studios and apartments. Convenient functionality with superior style. A show stopping marvel of American 20th Century design. Some very minor scuffs, stains, and scratches on original wood frame. One section of the upholstery seam is split for around 2 inches. Daybed measures about 112 inches wide and 31 inches deep with a 15.5 seat height. The item “Adrian Pearsall Daybed Mid Century Modern MCM” is in sale since Thursday, February 22, 2018.
