This piece features green velvet upholstery with silky green serpentine trim, and pierced urn style dentil cornice molding framed by a mix of inlaid and applied geometric relief carvings, inset burled walnut panels, scrolls, and floral motif carvings. The scrolled and curved frame of this Couch made it an ideal resting spot for hysterical women. The gently curved frame features a perimeter of burled walnut, with unique legs displaying delicate serpentine molding that appears to be draped over the turned and tapered, rounded and flared hoof-style feet.
