Crafted in England c1980-90. Very comfortable and sturdy. Few minor marks at very bottom. This red leather Chesterfield sofa was crafted in England between 1980 and 1990 as an antique style reproduction. Today, this Chesterfield remains as beautiful and as sturdy as ever, with a timeless elegance that would enhance any home or office furniture collection. The Chesterfield is a classic, centuries-old design that combines supreme comfort with timeless elegance. Its distinguishing characteristics include tufted leather and arms that are the same height as the backrest. This design is not only well-suited to the human body, but also the eye! The impressive oxblood leather, a favorite color for leather Chesterfield sofas, displays a rich complexion that is beautifully complemented by the rolled arm rests and four mahogany bun feet that support the sofa. The base of the front is buttoned which results in a much tighter looking front base. Small details like this result in a stunning sofa that would complement any setting. The seat area measures 57 wide x 22 deep and is 16 from the floor. The Oxblood leather remains very strong and durable. It is very thick and has been treated to time-honored tanning and finishing techniques to produce the highest quality cowhide leather, and clearly it has stood the test of time. There is some wrinkling present, as is normal for an aged leather piece. This adds character to the already gorgeous red leather Chesterfield sofa. Also, there are a few minor scuffs here and there. Finally, the middle cushion appears to have been recovered. Overall, this sofa is in excellent condition and should last for decades to come! Here you can see the back. Looks great from both sides! The leather has a wonderful red or oxblood color. The bun feet are strong. Minor wear marks can be seen at the very bottom here. A close up of the fine leather. Each cushion was recently re-stuffed and is firm and comfortable. Tufted red leather makes this sofa special. Rolled arm rests are part of what makes this chesterfield so attractive. Minor wear one corner and one cushion. A classic Chesterfield love seat such as this one is a traditional sofa that works for almost any room of the home. An antique green leather love seat works well in a living room, den, or even smoking room. This Chesterfield style love seat was originally made in England sometime around 1980. Condition is not a concern with this beautiful love seat. The leather is a thick, high grade cowhide that was treated to an elaborate finishing process and will last for generations. Over time, the leather has become quite supple. Wrinkles have developed throughout, which gives it quite the aged look. While there is a small scuff on the front right corner and some minor wear on the left seat cushion, they add character to the piece rather than detract. This antique green leather love seat has been well taken care of over the years and the good condition reflects this. This love seat features two removable cushions. The cushions are soft and comfortable without being so soft you sink into them. The even arm rests and back that are rolled with buttoned leather are very indicative of the classic Chesterfield style. The entire love seat rests on mahogany bun feet. The green leather has a rich color that has worn nicely over the years leaving darker color in the recesses and lighter color on the raised portions. This coloration is an indicator of the quality of sofa you are purchasing and cannot be found in lower grade leathers or imitations. The leather has also become amazingly soft and supple over the years, one of the softest we have ever had in! The seating area has a width of 40 and a depth of 22. The seat is 17.5 from the floor. The back is also very clean, which would allow you to place the sofa in the middle of a room. There is a small, dark indent on the right side. A stunning love seat from any angle. Beautiful color and shape. There are four of these mahogany bun feet that hold the piece off the ground. The rolled arms are nicely done. The buttoned green leather has a spectacular look. The cushions are comfortable. The two cushions are great for lounging or getting cozy. An antique green leather love seat from England.
