Granted in 1837, by Governor, Juan Alvarado, they became owners of nearly 36 thousand acres of present day Orange county (including Anaheim, Fullerton and Placentia). Ontiveros named the land Rancho San Juan Cajon. This settee was part of the furnishings used and owned by the Ontiveros family. Professionally restored, this settee is in excellent condition with new upholstery using vintage Belgian linen. Measurements are 61″ wide, 26″ deep, 31 1/2″ high, 20″ seat height.
