Fabulous 1930s-40s Art Moderne Sofa & Matching Chair. W/ Exotic Floral Fabric and Unique Wood Trim. Offering this truly unique set of 1930s-40s Art Moderne furniture that includes a large Sofa and matching Armchair. It’s big, beautiful and heavy… Made with real hardwood and springs. I’m almost positive I still have the original manufactures tag tucked away somewhere. Although I can’t make any promises, I will do my very best to locate it for the new owner(s). We loved the set so much so that we spent a small fortune having it professionally reupholstered years ago. It was always in our den and never subjected to any heavy use – only recently moved to our living room. It is in excellent used (clean) condition. The exotic floral fabric has great colors… Eggplant, maroon, dark brown, dusty pink, dusty orange, pale sky blue & multiple shades of greens on a rich chocolate background. You really need to see the last photo to appreciate its beauty, which was taken in natural daylight. The sofa measures 82 wide, which includes the interesting rounded/flared sides along the bottom. It is 36″ deep and 29 1/2″ high. The arms measure 9″ wide x 32 1/2″ deep, and the seat height is 16. The chair measures 41 wide, which also includes the interesting rounded/flared sides along the bottom. The arms measure 9″ wide x 32″ deep, and the seat height is 15. This set has been in our personal collection for over three decades years; we were fortunate to acquire it from the original owners.
