This sofa is part of a suite, I have two of these which are matching and a very large full sized ottoman which is large enough for all people on both sofas to use. This item is only for the piece listed, the others are under my other items. This sofa has a lovely heritage aged look to the leather, its very nice and has a gentlemans club feel to it. The leather is soft to touch and very comfortable to sit on. We have cleaned waxed and polished it all over, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there, some sun fading, nothing you wouldnt expect from normal use, mostly its in stunning condition as you can see from the pictures. The suite has been upholstered with natural fully aniline cattle hide leather, its been washed back to the natural colour then hand dyed this glorious rich whisky brown colour, the cushions are goose feather filled and very comfortable. The frame internals are all original, this suite will last for decades to come and looks amazing in any setting. Stunning Brand New William Morris Forest Linen Upholstered Chesterfield Sofa

This is without a doubt my absolutely favourite Morris fabric, its based on the original tapestry made in 1887 and is current on display in the Victorian and Albert Museum. The upholstery depicts a forest scene with a wolf, rabbit peacock and various flowers. The sofa has been made without absolutely no expensive spared what so ever, all cushions are fully upholstered on both sides so should the worst happen and one side becomes worn or damaged you can simply flip it over. The cushion internals are whats called split panel feather filled foam core, quite a mouth full! They are exceptionally expensive to make, what you have is an internal bag which has a premium foam core, you then have two additional sections both with goose down feathers, the foam creates the rigidity of the seat and the feathers the absolute comfort. The sofa is tufted to the back and sides and the base is coil sprung which you dont really need as you have the luxury cushions but as mentioned this is a no expense spared affair! The piece is in retail new condition and is ready for the new owners. Height:- 71.5cm. Beautiful hand carved roses on top center section and the sides and bottom section also. Casters on the feet. Totally restored with New Upholstery on tufted back and seat. New webbing and springs. This sofa is elaborately carved with such detail, truly “one of Kind” Sofa. Upholstered in easy care cotton muslin fabric which can easily be recovered, comes with plump cushion seating. Cotton muslin fabric is not consider an upholstery material its meant to be recovered over it or you can leave as is, there is a small circular stain on the back (see photo).
