This sofa has been preserved for many many years and is in outstanding ORIGINAL condition. It has not been compromised in any way. The original black leather has slight patina and it very soft and in good condition. The fiberglass shell in original white has a few small light rubs but nothing ugly or very noticeable. You have to get up close to even see. This is a very very rare opportunity to own the holy grail sofa of all time! Most these days have been recovered, repainted etc. This one is in its original state! The only modification I make was to professionally add led lighting to the bottom to enhance the floating appearance at night. It can easily be removed with no issues. No holes were drilled or anything unsightly. No chairs, lamps, carpets, pillows or anything else will be included. 84x 42 x 25. Italian Mod style sofa circa 1970s. Newly reupholstered in white vinyl with Italian crafted chrome globe feet. The sofa measures 8’2″ from armrest to armrest, 42″ depth from the back to the front edge, and 30 high. DETAILS: Like all human made things, there are small imperfections. We have included an image of the right side of the sofa, where the armrest and cushion don’t quite see eye to eye, leaving a small gap which can be resolved with a gorgeous pillow or throw. There is also a small area on the left armrest where someone wrote on the backside of the fabric and can be faintly seen on the visible surface. Please note that all the upholstery is done with care and by hand. Unlike machine upholstered items, it is not perfect and may have character differences and small flaws. We are very picky and will not sell anything that doesn’t pass our approval. We can assure you that any flaws will be very minor. Those which aren’t will be carefully described. If you are a perfectionist, handmade stuff is probably not for you. If you need other photos or angles of the items we sell, just ask. We will also be happy to provide a swatch of the fabric for your inspection and for matching (if available). We’re always honest about any flaws and will be happy to photograph them for you. Large, spectacular ORIGINAL “Double Relaxer 2″ twoseater rocker sofa/chair, 1970s, Verner Panton for Rosenthal, Germany. Olid, heavy, highest quality workmanship (see picture). Solid, black varnished and clear lacquered wood. Very good, nice patinated, ORIGINAL vintage condition (see pictures) with traces of use according to age; some spots with loss of lacqueration (see pictures). : Width 39,57 100,5 cm. ; height 31,50 80 cm. ; depth 37,80 96 cm. NOTE: This large twoseater version of the “Relaxer” is very seldom; it was produced in just very small capacities. It is a 70s Rosenthal original and no reproduction.
