Milo Baughman designed for Forecast Furniture until his death in 2003. This Milo Baughman designed sofa was custom made by Forecast Furniture of Winchester, VA, in 1983 for a local family in Springfield, VA, where it sat in a formal living room unused for the past 38 years. Check out the clean lines of this tuxedo style sofa, which just screams midcentury. And yet, the sectional is covered in a rich 1980s style orchid colored hot pink velvet called Muldoon Mauve! This sectional sofa is so, so good. It’s in excellent vintage condition with wear commensurate with age. There is some wear on one corner, as shown in the photos. There is some dramatic sun fading that is difficult to capture in the photos, so feel free to ask for more photos as needed. But otherwise, it’s comfortable, a gorgeous color, has enviable lines, and is jaw-droppingly gorgeous.
