Includes the original matching throw pillows from Carol Hicks Bolton. Wonderful Victorian style sofa by Carol Hicks Bolton for EJ Victor Furniture Company. This kidney-shaped piece features an. Ornately carved walnut frame with floral accents, and open work detail along the back seams. The sofa has an ornately carved. Skirt and stands on eight carved cabriole legs. The frame is carved walnut which has been covered in gold leaf and then antiqued. Cushion is a blend of foam and down so it is very comfortable without sagging. Description: This beautiful sofa features rolled arms with classic camel back sitting on top of three mahogany carved cabriole legs with bellflower carved knees terminating in claw and ball feet. Sofa is upholstered in beautiful floral chintz fabric. Comes with 4 matching throw pillows. Southwood, made in North Carolina, specialized in high end 18th century reproductions and their furniture was found in high end furniture stores. Also Southwood was known for its high end fabrics. Condition Report: Good condition with some light scuffs and scratches as expected with usage, fabric in very good condition. Measurements: 36″ H X 83″ W X 30 D. Items are pre-owned and will show the usual signs of scuffs, scratches, wear and use. Upholstered items may have wear, tears and stains associated with usage. Approximately 72″ Long x 36″ Tall at the Peak in the Center x 27 Deep. USED – Very Good Condition! Note – The wood frame shows normal signs of wear from use, transport, and age. No major nicks or scratches. The cane back looks great except for one quarter-size hole near the center – see photo.
