A gorgeous and rare model L-10 curved sofa designed by Pierre Guariche, the present example features a delightful blue covering over black enameled iron frame. It is built in two parts to allow a variety of situations, either as a singular unit or divided – perhaps with a side table placed between the two. There are sticker remnants to the underside of the frame where the manufacture label once was affixed, this set generally having been produced by Airborne during the 1960s, but these labels have since been removed. Rich, exciting and an exceptional blend of form with comfort, this is a very fun piece that brings life to a room. 86 1/2″ W (at front corners), 127 1/2″ W (at back corners) [combined]; 43″ W (at front corners), 66″ W (at back corners) [individually]; 29″ H x 32 1/2″ D x 17 5/8 H to seat (depending on where it is measured). Condition Report: Trace rust/oxidization to the black powdercoat of the metal frame; upholstery in good condition with no notable flaws/blemishes other than minor use wear and mellow fading; extremely comfortable and sturdy; missing a few screws from underneath frame.
