1960s Mid Century Modern Platform/Daybed Sectional Sofa Green Peter Hvidt Era. Incredible platform sectional sofa from the 1960′s. All original seat and wedge cushions. Original’Mint Green’ vinyl upholstery. Stamped’Made in Yugoslavia’ on one of the sofa frames. Wood arms and frame look like WALNUT wood. The ends of each sofa are made of unfinished wood–this sectional is meant to have a table that fits in the corner…. The’chaise’ sofa section with one wedge cushion measures 75″L by 30″ Deep with a seat height of 17. The two (wedge) cushion back sofa measures 76″L by 30″Deep with a seat height of 17. There are some condition issues…. Some of the stitching has come loose in a few spots over time and has yellowed—-see pictures. There are a few black scuffs, but nothing major at all, just wanted to mention it. One wedge cushion has some white paint’spray’ on the edge, but could probably clean up with the right cleaner. GREAT thing with the vinyl, is that none of it is ripped or has major damage, it’s all intact and very useable. The seat cushions rest on the original springs–all are good, none are broken. The underside of each seat cushion is dirty and has some stains–see pictures. It does have a’musty’ smell–sat in a basement for many years—BUT–it’s a survivor! Cushions could be re-covered or cleaned up.. Overall, considering it’s age…. If there are any questions about an item, I do my best to give you even more information about an item.
