The settee is fully upholstered in a red and gold striped pattern that picks up the swirls in the frame. The lines on the settee back are repeated in the settee legs. Antique Victorian Eastlake Carved Parlor Settee Love Seat Bench 51.5. This beautiful loveseat is gorgeous in color and design. It does have a couple stains on the seat (as shown in pics) along with a couple minor scratches on he wood. The front 2 legs have wheels. There are 2 additional wheels included for the back 2 legs but it’s best to keep it from sliding around by keeping the back 2 legs stationary. I believe the wood is Walnut but I’m not 100% sure on that. Cool bead detailing around the edges of the fabric. The wood carving detail is amazing but there might be some cracks in the center of the wood also shown in the pics but doesn’t effect it’s usability. Any questions, please feel free to ask! ORIGINAL and VERY RARE, HARD TO FIND! 1940-50s Mid Century Modular Sectional Couch/Sofa by STRATFORD local p/u. A Mid-Century Modern three piece sectional sofa made by’STRATFORD’. Very Hard to find such an awesome sectional sofa. Fabric is or appears to be a very unique black and gold string Boucle and is coarse. The pattern has slight wear from gentle average holiday use. Couldn’t find that exact fabric anywhere. The “cambric” material has tears under the end sofas (easily repairable or covered over). Solidly built, with no frame damage. The seat cushions were very recently replaced with new foam. The back has a stiffer feel than the new seat foam. Its clean lines, geometric shape, low slung seating, tapered legs and very distinct look will greatly enhance or be the focal point of a room. Can be Retro/Art Deco in style. Has sat in the same smoke free home for 71 years! It has been vacuumed, maybe it could use to be steam cleaned gently. Please ask questions or will gladly message more pictures since I could only put 12 on the page. Note: The Kroehler Slipper Accent Chair has also sat in the same room and home. It is listed separately, but, hope it makes its way to the same home with the Sectional Sofa. The curved center section: 67.5″ wide, 37″ deep, and 28.5″ high, seat 21.5″. RARE mid century Danish modern sectional couch Hvidt Molgaard local pickup

Up for sale is a sectional sofa designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard. Each have an armrest that can be moved to a few angles, presumably for sleeping – turning the armrests to headrests. Please read some detailed notes on the condition. It is in very good condition but not mint. The finish looks good throughout. All hardware is intact and functional. The hinged sides are mechanically sound. The condition of the burnt orange vinyl is great – even in color, and not stretching, ripping, or brittle anywhere. It has the usual scuffs, dings, areas of faded finishes, and very minimal upholstery defects you would expect for a piece of its age. The vinyl has some very small nicks in it. Hard to notice unless looking for them. One section of the caning is damaged. Finally, the seat-back support could use some reinforcement. I say could because it would be at the buyers discretion. It is stable and functionally useable as is, but maybe could use some added stability if the sectional will be freestanding (away from the support of a wall) or under heavy use. Lastly, It seems to me that whomever did the original assembly put some of the pieces in reverse. I cant be sure of this but the seatback supports have stain and finish on the side that the cushion faces, but are untreated on the side that faces outward. I dont think this is much of an issue but should be factored in when deciding the placement of the couch in your home. If the back is visible you may want to have these pieces finished, or you may want to flip the pieces so that the original stain faces outward as intended (this would require drilling some new holes, since the screws are not placed symmetrically). Let me know if you have any further questions! Height: 31 1/4 from floor to top of the back. Length: 93 1/4 total when the 2 couch pieces are put together.
