It is comfortable to sit on. This has been restored. The fabric has been replaced and the wood has been stained & touched up. The right armrest has a chip in the wood towards the back, and both armrest have small white marks on the end. A couple minor hairline cracks on outer right end of armrest. The ornate carved designs in the wood have some cracks but does not go through the wood. Shown in photo’s. Small chip on very bottom of back left leg. The front left leg has a slight curve to it. A couple light white marks on top of back rest. The seat dimensions are 47″-1/2 inches long x 23″inches deep front very front to very back x 37 inches tall. The seating depth is about 19 inches. Rare late 1940s/early 50s mid-century modern one-piece rounded curved-end sofa. Over 13ft from end to end at longest portion of the curved section. White fabric reupholstered 15 years ago. Normal wear, no rips or tears. Some spotting on cushions and top backrest. Best suited for a restoration if looking for a genuine period statement piece. You’ll be hard pressed to find anything quite like it in any condition. Perfect for a large area in a home, office or hotel lobby/lounge. 16 from floor to seat cushion. 29 from floor to top of backrest. 23 depth of cushion seat. 70 length of straight vision. This classic chaise lounge was made in the Late 1800s and is a wonderful example of the Victorian Eastlake furniture style; it features a classic silhouette with beautifully hand carved details decorating the frame, and a lovely light to medium walnut finish to the wood, and it has wheels on the legs make easy to move around. The Chaise Lounge has beautiful floral tapestry, the tapestry is in good condition, it look like it was reupholster not long ago, see pictures, we do recommend to professional clean. The condition of this settee is secure and sturdy, there are some aging imperfections/scratches/touch ups due to its age and as part of its wear and tear, see pictures.
