We personally like it when we remove the big imperfections and leave the little ones for the character but add a layer of finish over them to freshen the whole piece up. This lets us customize the color tone too. We just charge for the extra shop time. Rare time capsule condition Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates Gondola sofa in Perfect restored condition. Comes with walnut end tables on either side with marble inserts. We completely disassembled and restored the piece throughout in order to bring it back to life. We refinished the walnut frame and added new foam, fixed springs and applied Black high performance Maharam fabric. Bring any living space back to the 60s era instantly with this outstanding and rare gondola sofa. Large enough to sit 4-5 people with ease. After our restoration, this piece will last for another 30 years with proper upkeep. Condition report: Time capsule condition. New fabric and upholstery from top to bottom. The walnut wood frame was fully sanded and refinished. An outstanding example of the mid century platform sofa. At Mid Century Sacramento, we source, restore, and carefully curate iconic 20th century/mid century modern designs to time capsule condition. Went into the time machine and brought back this Elvis / Tiki era, Pearsall styled gondola settee and matching ottoman. Made by a fine furniture maker down in Tennessee. There is a quarter inch rip on the front left arm and there are a couple of flea bites around the left arm and the back that are very small. Vinyl is supple and strong, but we do detect some of Gramp’s aftershave which could be removed with some attention. Settee 60W x 15, 20.5. 33H x 29D. Seat interior 44 x 20.
