No breaks or repairs to the wood frame. This has a rope pullout and slides to make into full size bed. It does need recovered as all original and shows wear after all these years. Some of the black netting has disconnected underneath, but the strapping and springs are in very good condition. This piece is almost perfect!! An Eastlake period settee. Surmounted with a pierced crest rail carved with a simple floral motif, the shape is mirrored in the skirt pediment. Outward rolled arms are finished with wooden panels carved with scrolled details. Round legs taper slightly, are turned and finish with blunt arrow feet.
